Clear expectations.
Better decisions.
The 5th Facet is our way of putting market and sourcing context around an independently graded diamond. It is not another gemological grade, an appraisal, or a promise of future value.
Independent grading
Certificates and reported grades come from the named independent laboratory, not from 5th Facet. We help buyers interpret documented details and compare options; we do not grade or appraise diamonds.
Exact-stone identity
A published stone or private quote identifies a specific diamond by its grading lab and certificate number. An editorial image or educational example is not a listed stone.
Availability and quotes
Supplier availability and pricing can change. We reconfirm an exact stone before any next step. A quote has its own stated expiry and does not reserve inventory or guarantee a supplier can fulfill it.
Current pilot scope
The site does not currently offer online checkout, stone reservations, or a ring builder. Review our published shipping, payment, return and diamond policies before any future purchase commitment; none is created by submitting a brief or viewing a quote.
The right question at every step.
Our comparisons are decision support, not a guarantee of the lowest price, future resale value, or a particular outcome. Supplier commercial terms and customer-specific details remain private.
